Hi There!
I’m Nancy, the creative mind behind Dandy Nancy Design, along with my feisty assistant, Coco (my adorable Pom-Yorkie). As a hands-on, introverted creative empath, Ifind joy in designing printables that simplify life and bring a little more organization and creativity to your day.
A Passion for Creating & Helping People
My love for creativity started early. As a child, I loved making thoughtful things that would brighten someone’s day. Over the years, my passions grew—along with my love for coffee, baked goods, and all things design. Most of the time, you’ll find me working on new products with a large cup of coffee (or two), some fresh bread, and way too many pastries (I like to think they fuel my creativity!).
I’ve always been drawn to hands-on work and problem-solving. In high school, I attended a vocational school where I learned how to fix office machinery, which sparked my interest in how things work. Later, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, but I never stopped exploring new skills. I love taking different courses and incorporating what I learn into my designs.
At Dandy Nancy Design, I create digital products that keep people happy, organized, and productive—everything from to-do lists, planners, and calendars to wall art, greeting cards, and bookmarks. I’m also a big kid at heart, so I love designing for children, whether it’s party decorations, coloring pages, or educational templates.
Inspired by Life in Two States
I split my time between New York and Pennsylvania, drawing inspiration from both places—the fast-paced energy of the Big Apple and the peaceful charm of PA. I’m a latte-loving, bread-obsessed, down-to-earth designer who loves helping others bring more organization and creativity into their lives.
My Journey Before Dandy Nancy Design
Before launching my business, I worked in a variety of industries, including education, healthcare, senior care, catering, real estate, and childcare. Juggling college part-time while working full-time (and sometimes even a second job!) taught me resilience and time management.
For over 25 years, I worked for an Italian food manufacturing company, where no two days were the same. I handled e-commerce, shipping, retail, wholesale, and distribution, while also creating graphics, product photos, signage, and solving hands-on challenges. Managing over 100 employees, vendors, and clients fueled my love for organization and efficiency.
Now, as a full-time caregiver for my elderly mom, I understand firsthand the challenges families face in balancing responsibilities. This experience has deeply influenced my approach to designing printables—I create products that help streamline daily tasks and make life a little easier.
I also have a bunch of nieces, nephews, and godchildren who remind me daily of the importance of balancing structure with fun!
When I’m Not Designing…
You’ll find me spending time with Coco and my family, or indulging in my favorite hobbies—scrapbooking, photography, traveling, taking courses, and collecting vintage treasures (especially coffee tins and Santa-themed items!).
And of course, I have the best assistant—Coco! She keeps me on track, demands belly rubs and treats, and makes sure I never work too hard.
